A man stabbed at a private celebrity packed party organised by mobile phone giant BlackBerry on April 4th has died.

Father-of-two Phillip Sherriff, 37, a telecommunications worker from Preston, Lancashire, was attacked in Pulse nightclub, Southwark, on 4 April.

Singer Jessie J had performed at the club earlier in the evening and several other celebrities were in the venue at the time.

Ashley Charles, 25, from Leicester, has been charged with attempted murder.
