TV and radio personality Reggie Yates appeared on BBC Breakfast this morning with former gang member Aaron Rhoden to talk about his new BBC3 documentary on Teen Gangs.
….
When I first heard about this documentary and then heard the name ‘Reggie Yates’ I rolled my eyes. But it actually looks like it might be quite good.
I wish Aaron the best of luck. I see some potential there and he seems like a decent young man.
Your thoughts please….
Yeah, it looks like it might worth a watch.
The sun is the one talk about gangs when they run their businesses like mafias, intimidating people. smh
arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr man looks interesting and def worth a watch, but to be honest I’m just tired of these kind of documentaries there have been so many of them in the past and they all seem to be the same at the end there is no solution.
The problem is this men ain’t raising boys to be men, women try but over compensate for the dad not being there by spoiling the boy giving him everything even getting into debt to give him everything, the boy grows up angry that his dad weren’t there and thinks the world owes him something, watches T.V looks around and see black men like him doing negative he thinks that’s what being a black man is. The solution men need to start raising boys to be men.
Watching this last night with the girl (Tulisa?) and her mother i wondered why the moher was smiling cooking dinner for Reggie Yates and not taking more responsibility for her childs appalling behaviour.
I watched it last night and it failed to answer the question why people join gangs.
Talisa was something else! How old was she?
Shakil was annoying me, but I felt there was perhaps more to his story and Reggie just didn’t dig deep enough. He came to Britain from the Congo at the age of 14. I wanted to know about his life in the Congo and what happened when he first arrived here. It was interesting when he said that he ‘wanted to make his father proud’. I wanted to know more about his relationship with his father.
