UK NEWS: ALESHA DIXON JOIN’S BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT

Earlier today it was announced that Alesha Dixon had quit as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing.

Now it has been announced that the star will join the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel alongside Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Amanda Holden.

Britain’s Got Talent is BORING but congratulations Alesha.

  1. She’s better off there. Strictly is a much better show though. If BBC had wanted a coloured person on the panel, all they had to do was to get a coloured professional to be a judge, because i do believe there are coloured prefessional dancers. Or they would have left Arlene and then put a professional coloured dancer or black dancer, male pr female to dance with the celebrities. Something like that. Instead of just using any popular face they feel might pull in the crowd. I think there would have been less controversy if Arlene had been replaced by a coloured professional. That is what made that show partly successful. It was different from Xfactor and Britain’s got talent. Alesha tried her best though.

  2. haha i used coloured because she looks mixed race or mixed percentage, but coloured can be used for asians, blacks or any one in that line. Ok person of colour, ah whatever the right word is. I doubt BBC was going to go for black black to sit on that panel. lol

Alesha is mightly fine , I suppose that’s why she was on there in the first place . To be fair for the job , if they actually needed a “person of colour” and female .Then for me it Beverlee Knight woulda been my choice.

  4. If Beverly has the expertise in this kind of dance then yeah. I would rather they got someone who has the expertise who is black if they really want a black person. They are there. You can’t tell me there are no black choreographers or dancers in this field. They might not be known, but they are there, and that would have been the difference.
