The BBC was facing calls yesterday to sack a DJ who was filmed encouraging fans to take drugs as a rave festival.
Controversial Radio 1 presenter Tim Westwood, who was earlier this month unveiled by the corporation as the face of a new charity scheme, was filmed goading a crowd with a slew of four-letter expletives whilst DJing at the event last weekend.
The footage shows the 52-year-old on stage shouting over the audience: ‘Are you ready to party with Westwood? Make some noise!’ We’re going to have a good motherf***ing time at this party! You ready to party or what?
