This look very interesting but the presence of former footballer Garth Crooks riles me!
I remember years ago Garth appeared on a late night talk show and DEFENDED a racist football manager (it was not Ron Atkinson. This happened some years before his now infamous racist rant).
The manager ( I cannot remember his name) at the time called a black player the N-word amongst other things and clown boy Garth here then went on TV, acknowledged that the manager’s behaviour was wrong, but still went on to defend him.
I just sat watching shaking my head in disgust.
A middle aged caucasian gentleman (if I remember correctly he was attached to some anti-racism organisation) sitting next to Garth could not believe what he was hearing. He later went on to accuse Garth of covering for the manager and was convinced that he had been asked to appear on the show by influential figures from within the world of football.
It was obvious that house negro Garth had been sent out to calm the disruptive field negros down.
If I happen to catch sight of Garth on TV now I just laugh and shake my head.
Anyway if you decide to venture out to this event tonight, please feel free to submit feedback.
