Via The Evening Standard A 10 year old Nigerian girl who attempted suicide after being detained in a Gatwick immigration centre for a second time has been released with her mother on the orders of Home Secretary Alan Johnson. No longer on a one woman quest to rid the African continent of it’s children, superstar Madonna flew in to Malawi and donned dark shades yesterday as she marked the construction of a new school for girls.
