KELLY ROWLAND CONFIRMS SPLIT FROM COLUMBIA RECORDS

Singer Kelly Rowland has released a statement confirming her split from Columbia records and insists that it was her decision to leave the label. She says, “Because Columbia Records has been my home base as an artist for more than a decade, the decision to move out on my own required a lot of soul-searching. REGGAE SINGER LUCIANO CHARGED WITH HARBOURING A FUGITIVE

Via BBC News Reggae singer Luciano has been charged with harbouring a fugitive who shot and wounded three police officers, Jamaican police have said. Police Superintendent McArthur Sutherland said the 44-year-old – real name Jepther McClymont – was charged and released after posting bail. The stand-off last week ended with the fugitive gunman, Andrew Senior, being  killed at Luciano’s home in Kingston. Two of the injured officers are still being treated in hospital. Oh dear….smh….

UK NEWS: STATUE OF JADE GOODY TO BE ERECTED IN HER HOME TOWN OF BERMONDSEY?

Via Digital Spy Jade Goody could be immortalised by a statue in Bermondsey, it has emerged. A number of fans have written to council heads and urged them to commemorate the reality TV star, who  last week, The Mirror reports. Via The Sunday Mirror Madonna was yesterday accused by the leading children’s charity of conducting a “puppy parade” over her plan to adopt a second child from Malawi. Take That Robbie Williams Via BBC News Singer Robbie Williams has said he is ready to rejoin Take That and is being welcomed back by his old bandmates.
