A man has been charged with battery against a police officer after breaking wind and fanning it toward a patrolman. According to the police file Jose Cruz, 34, of West Virginia, moved toward Patrolman TE Parsons, lifted his leg and “passed gas loudly” which was “insulting” to Parsons.
