X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke apparently cannot wait to release her debut album. The highly exciteable singer told The Sun, “If I could turn round and say to the label, ‘OK, done, let’s release it tomorrow’, I would. I’m so excited to bring it out – my blood’s boiling. It’s not going to be what you expect it to be. The label have told me they’re very proud at the moment.” Burke also disclosed that she has been receiving support from Beyoncé during the recording process. […]

Former X-Factor contestents JLS have released the video to their highly anticipated debut single Beat Again In my opinion JLS as a group have always been incredibly WEAK and Beat Again just sounds like a track that NSYNC would have recorded back in 2000.  But it will probably go down a storm with the teeny boppers…. The Daily Mail reports that X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke is set to work with Akon and Pharrell Williams. Both have signed on to produce tracks for Burke’s debut album. X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has signed a £3 million US deal with Epic Records. Burke said, “I’d love to crack the US”. ……………………………………………………………………. I can just see it now. If Alex goes on to crack the US market she will become even more unbearable and fake.  But congratulations Alex. I wish you the best of luck.

No surprises here….. Via BBC News Newly-crowned X Factor queen Alexandra Burke has topped the Christmas singles chart with Hallelujah. Burke won the battle for Christmas number one ahead of the late Jeff Buckley, whose version of the same song was in second place. It is 51 years since the same song sat at numbers one and two, and the first time ever at Christmas. The X-Factor semi-finals aired live last night and contestants Alexandra Burke, Eoghan Quigg and boy band JLS will battle it out for the coveted X Factor title. I really don’t understand why JLS is still in the running to win the title. I think that as a group they sound appalling!  Why does Simon Cowell, who is usually spot on, keep giving them a pass???
