MOBO AWARDS 2012 – THE WINNERS / MY THOUGHTS

The highly anticipated MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards opened with the Jay-Z and Kanye West track ‘Niggas In Paris’ playing in the background (you couldn’t make it up) while a group of female dancers took to the stage and failed to dance in synch with each other in front of a subdued audience. Then came the odd couple, show hosts former T4 presenter Miquita Oliver and actor Adam Deacon who in my opinion just didn’t gel well together. Miquita did her usual sarcastic/patronising presenting style routine []

BRIT AWARDS 2012 – WHAT A SNOREFEST / THE WINNERS

The Brit Awards 2012 took place in London several hours ago and it was a snorefest. The ceremony was drier than stale bread and the audience made up of industry folk lacked enthusiasm as usual. The tributes to Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse (Rest In Peace) were  both pitiful. I don’t even know what that was. Bruno Mars gave the best performance. Well done Bruno! I am still trying to understand why Olly Murs and Rizzle Kicks were invited to perform. Rapper/’singer’ []

RIHANNA COMPETITION: AND THE WINNERS ARE…..

I received a huge amount of replies minutes after posting news of this competition. I had no idea Rih Rih aka the dark priestess was so popular! Anyway today I picked 2 winners using the old skool childrens TV style/method of picking competition winners (put entrants info in a bag, shuffled and then pulled out winners names).   The two lucky individuals (plus one) that will be going to see Rihanna perform tracks from her forthcoming album Rated R (invite only/secret location) on Monday November 16th in London are: *drum roll* Bizu Yaregal []
