I’m not sure if my US based visitor’s will remember this duo, but I’m sure some of my UK visitors will. Female Hip Hop duo The Cookie Crew hailed from Clapham South West London, and were pretty big back in the late 80s. They also enjoyed some success Stateside.   Check out their 1989 hit ‘I Got To Keep On’ I wonder where they are now……

UK TALENT: THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE DAMN RIGHT UGLY Check out the music video and track, ‘A Man Who Draws Sound’ from London based spoken word artist shortMan. ‘A Man Who Draws Sound’ is a well produced track, and shortMan is a talanted artist, but admittedly I got lost listening to this track. I have trouble grasping what he is talking about, and I am still struggling to make sense of it all.
