Via BBC News Reggae singer Luciano has been charged with harbouring a fugitive who shot and wounded three police officers, Jamaican police have said. Police Superintendent McArthur Sutherland said the 44-year-old – real name Jepther McClymont – was charged and released after posting bail. The stand-off last week ended with the fugitive gunman, Andrew Senior, being killed at Luciano’s home in Kingston. Two of the injured officers are still being treated in hospital. Oh dear….smh….

Via BBC News The wife of Zimbabwe’s Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai has been killed in a car crash in which he was also slightly hurt, party officials say. Susan Tsvangirai was travelling with her husband south of Harare when their vehicle was in collision with a lorry. ‘Playa Hater’ is taken from Biggie’s sophomore album ‘Life After Death’. When I first heard this track I could not stop laughing, and Puffy’s contribution kills me every time. I’m just sorry that Biggie didn’t live to make a video for this track, and to drop it as a single. Reading some of the comments on YouTube it’s clear that ‘Playa Hater’ has gone over some folk’s heads (how I do not know). DJ AM and Travis Barker Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM were critically injured Friday night after a Learjet crashed in South Carolina, killing four other people. Motown songwriter and producer Norman Whitfield, whose credits include hits I Heard It Through The Grapevine and War, has died in Los Angeles. Whitfield – believed to be 67 – worked at the legendary label in the ’60s and ’70s, adding a rock edge to soul music. A passenger aircraft has burst into flames while landing at the main airport in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum. Sudanese officials say about 100 people are believed to have been killed out of the 203 passengers and crew on board.
