Yes yet another film starring Noel Clarke. He also co-wrote the screenplay. Film synopsis: Soulmates Alexandra (Talulah Riley) and Jeremy (Matthew McNulty) are getting married. At least that’s the plan. Unfortunately for them, nonchalant best man Peter (Noel Clarke), bridesmaid Sarah (Mena Suvari) and an army of naysayers haven’t heard they’re meant to be together. Can missing bridesmaids, crashed cars, a trip to A&E, and a delivery of pigs testicles stand in the way of true love? Choice FM morning breakfast show host Kojo will also appear […]
Oh dear…more drama within the mad sad bad world of UK entertainment, involving actors and former friends/colleagues Noel Clarke and Adam Deacon. This past weekend the BBC aired the hit UK film Kidulthood which stars and was written by Noel Clarke. Noel is currently in Hollywood filming Star Trek 2 but acknowledged that his pride and joy was on television and tweeted, I'm hearing the film I wrote and created is on in the UK. #Kidulthood — Noel Clarke (@NoelClarke) April 21, 2012 […]
London is in chaos. A military cargo plane has crashed leaving its highly classified contents strewn across the city. Completely unaware London is in lockdown, Charlie (Noel Clarke) and Shelley (Antonia Campbell-Hughes), accompanied by best friends Mark (Colin O’Donoghue) and Nikki (Laura Haddock), are at Storage 24 dividing up their possessions after a recent break-up. Suddenly, the power goes off. Trapped in a dark maze of endless corridors, a mystery predator is hunting them one by one. In a place designed to […]
An enthusiastic Noel Clarke talks to London 360 about his role in the new Star Trek film.
Variety reports that actor, writer, producer, Godfather of UK Urban film and all around “good guy” Noel Clarke has landed a role in the forthcoming film Star Trek 2. Clarke will apparently play a “family man with a wife and young daughter”. When I first heard this news I thought he had been cast as a Klingon. Congratulations Noel!
Thanks to the @UEL_News #UELGrad2011 for my honorary doctorate degree. Congrats to all the real grads out there. N thanks to @shazzard — Noel Clarke (@NoelClarke) November 17, 2011 Actor, writer, director, BAFTA Award winner and Godfather of UK “Urban” film Noel Clarke today received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from The University of East London at the O2. Judging by some of the tweets posted by over excited graduates anybody would have thought that Will Smith had flown in to attend the […]
Actor Ashley Walters has revealed to The Telegraph that he has co-written a script with fellow actor and director Noel Clarke. Walters describes it as being, A UK version of Bad Boys. We’re playing cops, we’re trying to make police glamorous over here, trying to give an advert to the Met.” Well this should be interesting. With a decent storyline and a talented fresh supporting cast of actor/actresses (not the same old faces) this could be a success. I hope they manage to get the project off the ground.
I'm not a racist or a militant, but have a question? Are there enough girls of colour in TV n film in the UK? #fastgirls is gonna fix that. — Noel Clarke (@NoelClarke) October 6, 2011 I wonder what’s brought this on then….. Anyway I think we all know the answer to Noel’s question which is a big fat NO! It looks like I will have to keep a close eye on his up and coming project Fast Girls. I look forward to seeing the […]
Screen Nation recently sat down and interviewed BAFTA Award winning actor, director, producer, script writer, humanitarian and founder of UK “Urban” film Noel Clarke. Check out an extract from the interview below. You’ve been in the game for 12 years what’s changed? It’s easier now because people like myself have made it easier for other people. A guy was on the phone to me the other day telling me about ‘you don’t help black people’ I said I put more black people on […]
Actor/writer/director Noel Clarke has started filming his new feature film called The Knot. From what I’ve heard so far, The Knot is a romantic comedy. Seeing as this is a Noel Clarke project I already expect to see the usual suspects starring in this film. But I won’t say anymore until I see the full cast list. I do however hope that Clarke has cast a fresh breed of acting talent in The Knot and not a bunch of “Team UK” randoms who have no business acting much less appearing […]
