UK NEWS: SUPPORT BANG RADIO 103.6 FM – CALL, VOTE, CHANGE A LIFE WITH £50,000

BANG 103.6FM has been shortlisted for a £50,000 grant from the Big Lottery. This funding will allow us to launch BANG Talent which will offer young people in Brent the opportunity to join a music-making project to develop their skills and abilities and celebrate their talents. UK NEWS: X-FACTOR ADMITS TO USING VOCAL ENHANCEMENT

Via BBC News X Factor bosses have admitted to using vocal enhancement processes on the ITV talent show. Fans had claimed after the opening show that “autotuning” had been used to improve some contestants’ voices. This is sad news. I’ve always liked this show. It’s the end of an era.   Via Digital Spy ITV has confirmed that it is dropping police drama The Bill after 27 years on air. According to The Guardian, the decision comes after last year’s revamp and move to a 9pm slot failed to alter sliding ratings.
