Talented songstress Vula and producer Ben Jones have come together to form DivaGeek and have released their first track, ‘Sunday’. As far as I am concerned Vula (who also sings for Basement Jaxx) should be enjoying the same solo success and support that Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone and Duffy (to name a few) have all enjoyed in this country and overseas. Singer H-Boogie (rapper/singer Estelle’s younger sister) teams up with Italian DJ Get Far on her debut single The Radio. The Radio will be released on the 17th May via Island Records. H-Boogie recently collaborated with rapper Bashy on the single Your Wish Is My Command, and also appeared on T2’s Better Off As Friends. ‘Woman’s World’ is produced by British producer DaVinche, and I was pleasantly surprised when I first heard the track. I really like it. Selah and Sadie impress but the track could have done without Ms Bratz. I don’t think it needed the rap. When will people realise that not every song out their needs to have a guest rapper?
