Via The Independent Ellianna Placas, who has been appointed fashion director at Essence, America’s largest magazine for African-American women, is white. It’s just been brought to my attention that rapper Kanye West has apparently set up his very own Twitter account. The new coalition government has decided to axe the UK Film Council, as part of their bid to save money. The Film Council was set up by the Labour government in 2000 to develop and promote the British film industry. Continue Reading….. This news has shocked me. The organisation has helped to fund so many great projects over the years.
