LOW LIFE OF THE DAY: THE FATHER OF JENNIFER HUDSON’S NEPHEW EXPLOITS SON’S DEATH TO PROMOTE HIS NEW RAP CD

Gregory King is the father of Jennifer Hudson’s nephew (Julian King). Julian was tragically killed in 2008. Gregory is a poor excuse for a human being. Why?  In the video below this “grieving” father visits the now boarded up family home where Jennifer’s mother, brother and nephew were attacked and killed (he claims this was their home)  and then  goes on to gleefully promote his new rap CD. What kind of man uses such a tragic incident and the death of his []

UK MUSIC: N-DUBZ – BEST BEHAVIOUR

N-Dubz’s new single Best Behaviour will be released on the 17th October. Def Jam executives are probably hoping that this track will successfully break the group in to the US market. I personally don’t see that happening, but it will be a huge hit here. The video – Yeah the label spent some money. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

UK MUSIC: HARVEY FT CASH JAMES – ‘ESCAPE’

Harvey it seems is also the latest UK “Urban” soul to jump on the rap electro bandwagon…. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

UK MUSIC: JSB – IT’S YOU

Drake was the man who first came to mind when I first played track.  For a split second I actually thought that was him singing the hook. JSB is a new rapper hailing from East London, and his new single It’s You has that cross over appeal, but it sounds really familiar. However I can see the 14-16 year old female demographic really embracing this track. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

UK TV: CHER LLOYD THE X-FACTOR 2010 AUDITION – ‘TURN MY SWAG ON’

Last night 16 year old X-Factor contestant Cher Lloyd performed Soulja Boy’s ‘Turn My Swag On’ (but the Keri Hilson version). Today everyone seems to be praising Cher’s performance (e.g. “amazing” and “best audition so far” and “Cher murdered Keri on her own track”), including Keri Hilson herself who wrote, I tweeted link to @iamCherLloyd on XFactor earlier…finally watched! She def turned her lil 16 y.o. swag on AND Simon liked? I approve! And UK artist JME even went as far as []
