Th world of fashion paid their last respects to the designer Alexander McQueen yesterday at St Paul’s Cathedral. Alexander’s muse heiress Daphne Guinness also attended the late designer’s memorial service wearing black platform boots from his Autumn/Winter 09 collection… …..and almost fell over. UK MUSIC: JMC FT SIZZLA – PLOT

Rapper JMC teams up with reggae star Sizzla on his new single Plot (scheduled digital release October 25th). I listened to Plot this morning and I really like the beat.  However I strongly object to them ruining Sizzla’s vocals with the use of auto tune.  That was so unnecessary. The video –  There is nothing particularly outstanding about this promo, but I see some of it was filmed in my parents homeland so I’ll give it the thumbs up just for that. 😀  Your thoughts please. Rapper Foxy Brown performed at the Jamison Ernest’s Incubator fashion show last week in New York City. I think her mentor Russell Simmons (who was in attendance) pulled some strings and that’s why the organisers allowed her to perform. There can be no other explanation. I watched the entire performance through my fingers. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

After attending a London Fashion Week show for Falguni & Shane Peacock, respected shoe designer Jimmy Choo, singer Michelle Williams and Kanye West’s former girlfriend turned model Amber Rose were photographed on their way to Jimmy’s Malaysian restaurant in Mayfair last night. Amber has been seen sitting front row at various shows during Fashion Week. It’s good to see that the former exotic dancer/video model plucked from obscurity is still in demand post Kanye.
