Actress Modupe Adeyeye will make her debut on BBC soap Eastenders this coming Tuesday playing Faith Olubunmi, the younger sister of Merci Olubunmi (played by Bunmi Mojekwu) who was written out of the show earlier this year. The newcomer will also appear in EastEnders online spin-off E20. Congratulations Modupe – good luck. And let’s just hope there isn’t another random deportation storyline in the works. Oh dear… it’s all kicking off in the leafy suffolk countryside. MOBO (Music of Black Orgin) Awards organisers have announced that singer/Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon will host this year’s award ceremony alongside singer Jason Derulo. The MOBO Awards 2011 will take place in Glasgow on October 5th.
