Gary Dobson and David Norris who were FINALLY found guilty of the 1993 racist murder of Stephen Lawrence in south-east London were jailed for life today. Dobson will serve a minimum of 15 years and two months, and Norris 14 years and three months. The pair were sentenced at the Old Bailey under guidelines in place at the time of the attack and as juveniles because both had been under 18. JUSTICE FOR STEPHEN AT LAST!!!! Via BBC News Two men have been convicted of the racist murder of black London teenager Stephen Lawrence, 18 years after the attack. Gary Dobson and David Norris were found guilty by an Old Bailey jury after a trial based on forensic evidence. The Thurrock Gazette reports that 2007 Big Brother winner Brain Belo has quit the pantomime Aladdin. Belo (24) had bagged the role of the genie but later walked out claiming he was being bullied by his co-stars and theatre staff. His mother Sue said her son had been reduced to tears after his house keys, script and costume were repeatedly hidden in his dressing room. The teenager who was brutally stabbed to death yesterday during the Boxing Day Christmas sales on Oxford Street has been officially named. Witnesses say 18-year-old Seydou Diarrassou was among a group of youths when he was stabbed inside the Foot Locker store ‘over a box of trainers’.
