Scene TV reports that ITV 1 will air a documentary about British sprinter Dwain Chambers. The documentary will chronicle his rise and subsequent fall after he received a two-year athletics ban and a ban from the Olympics for life (Chambers legally challenged this decision) for using THG, a banned substance. Singer Whitney Houston’s funeral took place today in her hometown of Newark, New Jersey. Among the mourners were Oprah Winfrey, R.Kelly, Mary J Blige, Kevin Costner and Mariah Carey. I watched the entire service on CNN. It was uplifting but also heartbreaking. I still cannot believe that Whitney has left us so tragically at the age of 48. The star will be buried tomorrow.
