  Via Variety Film group Icon, which is owned by Len Blavatnik’s U.S.-based company Access Industries, has inked an exclusive first-look deal with thesp-scribe-helmer-producer Noel Clarke, winner of the 2009 BAFTA Orange Rising Star Award, and his shingle Unstoppable Ent. The pact gives Icon the option to finance, sell and distribute everything Unstoppable produces, which is anticipated to be one or two films a year in the $5 million – $10 million range. Via The Times Online Twelve schoolchildren will appear in court on Monday, charged with the murder of a 15-year-old boy at London’s Victoria Station, in a legal landmark case. Sofyen Belamouadden was stabbed repeatedly during what detectives believe was a pre-planned fight between rival school gangs who had descended on Victoria at rush-hour armed with several knives. Via BBC News A 19-year-old man who was found guilty of murdering a Matalan shop manager has been sentenced to life with a minimum 20-year term. Kobina Essel stabbed Jamie Simpson, 33, during a botched robbery in March 2008. Mr Simpson was stabbed in the neck with a 10-inch knife during the hold-up at the store in Hackney, east London.
