I came across our latest UK Twitter “spat” over at Pappzd.com earlier today, and from what I gather it all started when female emcee Amplify Dot tweeted that Eastenders star Bunmi Mojekwu (who plays Merci in the soap) “is wedge” (meaning thick). Via BBC News A man has been found dead at the Glastonbury Festival. The body of the man, thought to be in his 50s, was found at about 0900 BST at the music event at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset. The BBC understands the body was found in a portable toilet in a restricted access area between the Pyramid Stage and the other stages. Via BBC News An illegal immigrant being deported to Jamaica tried to slash his own throat on board a plane at Gatwick airport, it is understood. The man was taken to hospital with “superficial injuries” shortly after boarding a Virgin Atlantic flight which was about to take off.
