RODNEY KING DIES AT AGE 47

TMZ reports that Rodney King has died at the age of 47. Rodney King came to the world’s attention when his brutal beating at the hands of the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) in 1991 was secretly filmed and the officers involved were later charged. However they were all acquitted in 1992 which sparked Los Angeles riots. Kareem ‘Biggs’ Burke who co-founded Roc-A-Fella Records alongside Jay-Z and Damon Dash has been sentenced to five years in prison for conspiring to traffic more than 100 kilos of marijuana.
