UK acts Roll Deep, Aggro Santos, Bashy, Wretch32, Davinche, Bluey Robinson and Cleo Sol have united to release the single Give A Little Love for Orange RockCorps, under the name the RockCorps Allstars. Give A Little Love was released on 10th October 2010, and the RockCorps Allstars performed the track at the end of September, at the Royal Albert Hall for 5,000 Orange RockCorps volunteers! RAPPER T.I SENTENCED TO 11 MONTHS IN PRISON

Rapper T.I (real name Clifford Harris) was sentenced to serve 11 months in prison today for drug possession. But I hear that his legal team plan on appealing the decision. It was announced today that producer/DJ Mark Ronson has now been added to the line up for the MOBO Awards 2010. Can somebody please tell me why the annoying, pretentious and over-rated Mark Ronson has been added to the line up? TONI BRAXTON FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY AGAIN

Via BBC News Grammy-award-winning singer Toni Braxton has filed for bankruptcy for the second time, her lawyer has said. The 43-year-old has revealed she is in millions of dollars worth of debt after a heart condition forced her to cancel a series of shows in Las Vegas. MIAMI POLICE USE JAY-Z’S IMAGE IN ‘REPORT GANG ACTIVITY’ CAMPAIGN

Local authorities in Miami have created a banner (below) using two press photographs of the rapper Jay-Z (shot 10 years ago) in ‘report gang activity’ campaign. The images can also be viewed on their website. Via Rap Radar At present Shawn Carter aka Jay-Z gets on my last nerve (for a multitude reasons) BUT the Miami police department is wrong to use his image in this fashion. Plus isn’t this illegal??? I hope he sues their backsides.

Ruff Diamondz are London-based trio — vocalists Troy (20), Martika (18) and MC Chronz (19). First off group member Martika looks a bit like Aaliyah (Rest In Peace). They sampled the classic Dead Prez track Bigger Than Hip Hop, so Do It Like Me sounds really good, however they should have left out the rapping. The video along with their image/style is very American (late 90s / early 2000s Hip Hop/R&B). Via Brown Eyez Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

BUJU BANTON CASE – JUDGE DECLARES MISTRIAL

A Florida judge has declared a mistrial for the Jamaican reggae star Buju Banton, who was accused of conspiring to buy cocaine from an undercover police officer last year. U.S. District Judge James Moody declared a mistrial after the 12-person jury sent him a second note on Monday saying they couldn’t reach a verdict.
