… Enough Said is taken from Aaliyah’s posthumous album and for some reason the Aaliyah estate has given Drake the greenlight to produce the album. I like hearing Aaliyah’s vocals on the single but when Drake jumps in I just think ‘WHY???’ Sometimes it is best to just leave things alone. Rest In Peace Aaliyah.

SINGER FRANK OCEAN REVEALS HIS FIRST LOVE WAS A MAN

LAURYN HILL PLEADS GUILTY TO TAX EVASION, FACES 3 YEAR PRISON TERM

Singer Lauryn Hill admitted in court today that she failed to file three years of taxes on income of $1.8 million. The star now faces a 3 year prison term and $75,000 in fines and will be sentenced in late November. However Hill’s attorney Nathan Hockman claims that the federal government is making an example of his client because of her celebrity status. R.KELLY CANCELS PROMOTIONAL APPEARANCES DUE TO THROAT COMPLICATIONS

Black Voices reports that R.Kelly has cancelled promotional appearances for his new album (Write Me Back) and memoir (Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me) because of throat complications. The singer had surgery last year to treat an abscess on his vocal cords. Kelly’s publicist said in a statement that ‘he was on his way to New York on Wednesday morning when he became ill and returned to Chicago for medical treatment’. … Oh dear this doesn’t sound good.

SINGER R.KELLY OWES MILLIONS IN UNPAID TAXES

It has been reported that singer R.Kelly (real name Robert Kelly) owes millions in unpaid taxes. It is claimed that Kelly owes almost 5 million dollars to the IRS (Internal Revenue Service). Record show he paid 2.6 million dollars in back taxes in 2008 and another one million dollars last year, but still owes the federal government more than 4.8 million dollars. Last week it was announced that BBC Radio’s resident Hip Hop DJ Tim Westwood (54) will no longer be hosting his weekday BBC 1xtra show after September and is to be replaced by DJ Charlie Sloth. The new fresh and acceptable face of  all things “URBAN” over at BBC Radio towers . MARY J BLIGE AND STEVE STOUTE SUED OVER $250K BANK LOAN FOR CHARITABLE ORGANISATION

TMZ reports that singer Mary J. Blige and entertainment mogul Steve Stoute’s charitable organisation Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now is being sued by TD Bank over a $250.000 loan. They took out the loan back in June 2011 and according to the suit the foundation agreed to pay back the money by December 2011, but so far they have only managed to pay back $368.33 Blige and Stoute are also being sued by musicians who claim they still haven’t been []
