UK rapper Giggs was interviewed before his surprise appearance on stage at the MOBO Awards (Music Of Black Origin) on Thursday night. Most of you will know by now that I don’t have much time for rap/grime acts from these shores (bar a few) but this performance (believe it or not) was the only highlight (for soooooooo many reasons ha ha) of an other wise uneventful and painful evening. I would like to hear Jay-Z, Eminem, Fabolous and Kanye rapping over this beat. Anyway your thoughts on the performance please. Hit or Miss?

Well the ‘highly anticipated’ MOBO Awards ended an hour ago, and they should never hold the event in Liverpool again. The only time the audience showed any real enthusiasm was when premiership footballers ( I cannot remember his name) Tim Cahill and Tim Howard appeared on stage to present an award, and when Billy Ocean collected a lifetime achievement award. This is just a reminder to all my UK-based visitors… The MOBO Awards will air live on BBC 3 tonight (20th October) at 9pm. However it will clash with The Apprentice (over on BBC 1 at 9pm). I love that show and Lord Sugar, but I feel I have a duty to tune in to the car crash over on BBC 3. In other news… It’s been reported that X-Factor reject Gamu Nhengu will appear on stage to sing alongside boy band JLS.
