The Guardian reports that the laughable and useless IPCC (Independent Police Complaints Commission) have announced that police officers who carried out the raid in which the reggae star Smiley Culture (real name David Emanuel) allegedly stabbed himself to death are unlikely to face criminal charges, disciplinary action or be officially questioned. Legendary Reggae music store Dub Vendor has announced that it will be sadly closing down its store in Clapham Junction due to the damage sustained during the London riots. A message posted on Dub Vendor’s official website says, As from Saturday 10th September 2011, our Clapham Junction record shop will close. MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards organisers have announced that Boyz II Men will celebrate 20 years in the music business with a special performance at this years award ceremony, which will take place in Glasgow on the 5th October. Finally some good news coming out of MOBO headquarters. I will definitely tune in to watch this performance. Boys II Men have still got that magic. They are brilliant live performers.

NEW HIV CASE CAUSES LA PORN INDUSTRY TO TEMPORARILY SHUT DOWN

It’s been reported that an adult film actor has tested positive for HIV, resulting in the LA porn industry shutting down while investigations take place to see if the virus has spread. Diane Duke, executive director of the adult film trade association Free Speech Coalition, said tests were being conducted on the performer to confirm the diagnosis.
