Last month it was reported that there were plans to protest and march against the controversial Choice FM (now Capital Xtra) “rebrand” and the decision to rid the station of its Reggae, Soca and Gospel programming.
Well it has been announced via the No Choice FM Facebook page that this protest/rally will take place on Saturday 30th November, outside Global Radio (owners of Capital Xtra) headquarters in Leicester Square (London) from 2-3pm.
Since the Choice FM “rebrand” broadcast regulator OFCOM has received a sea of complaints from the public and government ministers.
OFCOM are now monitoring Global Radio.
Oh dear… big boss man Ashley Tabor must be tearing his hair out as I type.
You didn’t see this coming did you Ash?

Sat 3 o clock…… Ok then….
Campaigning outside Capital Xtra? Creating petitions for the BBC to bring back The Real McCoy? What is wrong with Black people? Why do we spend so much time and energy complaining about what we are not being given, when that energy would be better spent building up Black businesses and supporting them. It makes us look like spoilt children complaining about not getting our ‘fair share’ instead of the mighty race that we should be. I will sign off with the words of the mighty KRS 1. “You still a slave, look at how you behave, debating on where and when and who and what Massa gave.”
