The prestigious BEFFTA ( Black Entertainment, Film, Fashion, Television & Arts) Awards took place on the 25th and 26th October.

Surprisingly Mad News was nominated for the ‘Best Community News Websiteaward. But I knew the odds were against me winning the award because I was never officially informed that Mad News had be nominated (I came across this information while having a nose at the nominations list) and I was not sent an invitation to the ceremony.

That said it all really (LOL).

But congratulations goes out to winners of the category CaribDirect and to the other nominees who took home a BEFFTA.

  1. 64 different categories!!!!! What kind of stupid mickey mouse awards show is this!! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
You never have more than ten categories in an award show, otherwise who is looking to take this thing seriously lol

  2. They could split into sections so you have Black Film Awards Black Fashion Awards etc. I get their want to include everything possible but ceremony would need to be broken down into sections
