The prestigious BEFFTA ( Black Entertainment, Film, Fashion, Television & Arts) Awards took place on the 25th and 26th October.

Surprisingly Mad News was nominated for the ‘Best Community News Website‘ award. But I knew the odds were against me winning the award because I was never officially informed that Mad News had be nominated (I came across this information while having a nose at the nominations list) and I was not sent an invitation to the ceremony.

That said it all really (LOL).

But congratulations goes out to winners of the category CaribDirect and to the other nominees who took home a BEFFTA.
