On September 25th I attended the Autumn edition of The I’mPOSSIBLE Conversation hosted at L’Oreal headquarters in Hammersmith, London.
Panellists Carlene Firmin (MBE), Donna McConnell (The Daily Mail showbiz editor), Paulette Randall (responsible for black British TV comedy classics The Real McCoy, Desmond’s and assistant director of the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony), Shingai Shoniwa (Noisettes front woman and Mizani UK brand ambassador) and Tumi Soyinka (senior product manager for Mizani UK) alongside host Eliza Anyangwe (The Guardian) all shared stories of their journey’s to the top of their professions and spoke candidly about their experiences and the obstacles they have faced.
They also inspired a packed house with stories of their greatest achievements.
When asked about The I’mPOSSIBLE Conversation’s growth and success founder Simone Bresi-Ando said:
The growth of the event series has been phenomenal in its short two-year existence with 2013 seeing the organisation host the events in places such as the Royal Festival Hall and House of Commons. The appetite to hear a more diverse range of experiences from a group of women that often go overlooked is gaining momentum and helping to inspire a generation to find their possibilities on their own terms.
I couldn’t agree more. Well done Simone for once again bringing us another inspiring and thought provoking event edition.
