Footballer John Terry appeared in court today desperate to clear his name. Terry is charged with a racially aggravated public order offence after allegedly calling QPR player Anton Ferdinand a “f**king black c**t” during a match in October 2011.
The Chelsea FC skipper has denied the accusation.
However lip-reader Sue Whiteley told Westminster Magistrates’ Court that she detected Terry saying “you f****** black c***” and detected Ferdinand saying “Oi you, shagging your mate’s missus.”

Ferdinand also took the stand today and told the Court,
“He called me a c*** and I called him a c*** back and he gave me a gesture as if to say my breath smelled.
“I said to him, ‘How can you call me a c***? You shagged your teammate’s missus, you’re a c***’.”
After the incident Terry’s team-mate Ashley Cole said to Ferdinand:
“You can’t talk to JT like that.”
Ferdinand also claims that he did not hear Terry call him a “f**king black c**t”, but was later shown footage of him allegedly shouting those words.

He’ll get a paltry 2.5k fine if found guilty. But just like Cheryl I doubt they’ll go as far legally labelling Terry a racist.
It’s weird that people who tweet racist remarks get Jail terms, lose their jobs & education But this fool get aways with it.
Its weird that foreign players get 10 match bans for racism and 50k fines for illegal advertising but they sweep this under the table whenits an english man.

I DO NOT TOLERATE ANY RACIST BEHANVIOUR, BUT WE MUST ALSO NOT THROW INSULTS AT PEOPLE WHO WE DO NOT AGREE WITH THEIR ACTION.
