Those desperate to get their tickets for the ‘highly anticipated’ Olympic Celebration, The Hackney Weekend 2012 were left angry, frustrated and disappointed this morning after they visited the ‘troubled’ ticket website and encountered the following issues…
It’s interesting that when some people have tried to order tickets a message pops up stating “access not permitted for your IP address”. Perhaps they are monitoring/blocking some requests coming in from particular areas in London (including East London) to prevent possible riff raff from attending the event. The last thing they want is a bunch of trouble making wild dogs showing up and spoiling the party.
The BBC will probably say that the website couldn’t cope with the high demand for tickets but what’s really going on here BBC Radio???
Hahahahahaha.
Anyway the BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend 2012 will take place on Hackney Marshes (East London) on 23-24 June 2012.
The headliners will be Jay-Z and Rihanna.

Why do you have to upload a photograph to register to get tickets?! Hmmmm a very fishy screening process going on here!
