Variety reports that actor, writer, producer, Godfather of UK Urban film and all around “good guy” Noel Clarke has landed a role in the forthcoming film Star Trek 2. Clarke will apparently play a “family man with a wife and young daughter”. When I first heard this news I thought he had been cast as a Klingon. Congratulations Noel!
Gary Dobson and David Norris who were FINALLY found guilty of the 1993 racist murder of Stephen Lawrence in south-east London were jailed for life today. Dobson will serve a minimum of 15 years and two months, and Norris 14 years and three months. It has been announced today that singer and Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon has left the show Alesha won the fifth series in 2007 and later joined as a judge in 2009 replacing popular judge and choreographer Arlene Phillips.
