A man has appeared in court accused of sending death threat texts to BBC Radio Hip Hop DJ Tim “Big Dawg” Westwood.

Hip-hop DJ Tim Westwood was bombarded with text messages from a man calling himself a ‘fan’.
The Radio 1 presenter, 53, was blitzed with messages from listener Mark Bulcock, 43. More than 100 texts that were sent by Bulcock – who has a conviction for theft – and police were called in to trace him after
he warned: ‘I swear you’re a dead man Westwood.’
Another chilling message read: ‘You’re going to be in a wheelchair.’ Radio 1 bosses shielded Westwood from seeing the messages, and called in the police. Continue Reading….
