TWEET OF THE DAY: KANYA KING (MOBO AWARDS FOUNDER)

I cannot wait to see the nominations list. I look forward to having a good laugh.

Also it has been announced that Jessie J, Katy B and US songstress Alexis Jordan will be performing at this years MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) Awards.

Jessie J – A predictable choice who will probably take home the most awards on the night *rolls eyes*.

Katy B – She will probably win an award thanks to her mid-late nineties dance sound slightly revamped for 2011.

Alexis Jordan – I only know one of her songs.

  1. soon people will be asking where is the Black in the Mobo. it might have been swagger jacked lol. But I know as many others do for years. The MOBO’s has always come up short so not expecting much. I wish the event well all the same.

  2. Does Miss King want it to be known as music of black origin anymore? Alexis Jordan ya na. Wonder if they’ll have a best unsigned this year

  3. I long gave up on the Black in the MOBO Awards and now enjoy it for what it is – a comedy show. I hear it is going back to Glasgow as the Liverpool lot were too dry last time. I look forward to a good laugh as well.

  4. Im hearing that Cher Lloyd’s name has been mentioned for best newcomer, nothing confirmed. Doubt she’ll make the shortlist, if she does Mobo will lose the small bit of credibility they have.
