Tinchy Stryder’s video for Game Over is here folks, featuring the artists listed above.
Vodpod videos no longer available.The track – The 13-21 year old demographic will love it.
The video – I can see what the director was trying to do here but it just becomes boring after a while. The problem is there is a lack of charisma here and they fail to command the viewer’s attention. American rappers (even the least talented ones) have always excelled at holding the audience’s attention visually via their music videos, something a lot of UK “urban” artists have yet to master.
Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

I actually liked the simplicity of video, but you’re right it is something that gets borinv after watching more than once. Really didn’t see the point of Giggs having that ipad for all of 3 seconds at the begining either. But I think the song’s good and they got a good mix of artists on their to please everyone so well done.
I like the song. At first I thought the video was dry but then I thought why do we have to have the typical hip hop/grime video of everyone on the streets bouncing with a posse behind them? Even so, the video could hav done with a bit more life. The performance at the MOBOs looked better.
And where is a chorus we can sing along too??
LOL @ wanting a grime sing-a-long tune… SMH
The track itself is an improvement on the crap thay’ve been churning out over the last couple of years but they needed a diverse selction of artists, they are all talking about the same thing, no verse stands out. The lack of charisma in the video could’ve been fixed with some close up shots, so we dont focus on them just standing there so much…
This video could have and should have been SICK. I get what they were trying to do, but the inconsistancies in the video (i.e the camera paning round a room with three whit walls, then you see that there in a stuio, ruined it)
If the video was slightly more graphic, I think it would have worked well, similiar to Chris Browns “Transform Ya” video
@ melissadelicious
I agree some close up shots would have been good.
@Miss Lala
Yes some graphics – anything that holds the viewers attention would have been an approvement.
