UP AND COMING UK FILMS: VICTIM AND LETHAL

Pure Film productions will release two “Urban” feature length films in 2011. First up is the film VICTIM. VICTIM tells the story of a young man’s attempt to break out of a cycle of violence Backed by the film production arm of Pure Music, VICTIM is a vibrant and authentic picture of the consequences of crime, and how one young person will finally escape from this dangerous trap.  Inspired by true events, the script was written by actors Ashley Chin (‘Cherry Tree Lane’) []

VIDEO: HOLLYWOOD DIES DIGITALLY TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR WORLD AIDS DAY

Several days ago I posted news on the dubious campaign set up by singer Alicia Keys to help raise awareness for World AIDS Day. Click HERE to read if you missed it. Punchbowl Blog reports that tomorrow (1 December) Hollywood will die digitally to raise awareness for World AIDS Day. A-list celebrities who have Twitter accounts will “sacrifice” yes that’s right “SACRIFICE” tweeting until $1 million is raised to buy their digital lives back. I bet they spent thousands of dollars on this off-key campaign. They should have donated the money to an AIDS charity []
