As for the video… Estelle sporting a black boot polish look, complete with bright red glossy lipstick……….. hmmmmm interesting……..
I’ve never paid much attention too Kardinal Offishall. Is he Canadian?

Yes he is Canadian and he did that song with Kerri Hilson which was a sample of ‘The Tide is High’ by Blondie. So Estelle finally has a new song out, the only tune I remember from her was ‘American Boy’
The visuals remind me of something Missy Elliot might do. Interesting to see how it all turns out.
Estelle is REAL STUPID for allowing herself to be bufooned up with a BLACKED up face and BIG RED lips…does she not know of the racist imagery related to this. Wow, I guess it just goes to show how little creative control some musicians have over their image.

To be honest, I think that there are some women that can carry being totally darkened and looking edgy like Grace Jones who never looked like someone who was not in control of her image BUT I don’t know if Estelle will be able to carry it off being a bit of a non entity image wise and so the blacking up tirades are likely to ensue

Blacking up and red lips was not the one, not gr8 at all.
I got Grace Jones from this but I am not really feeling the video and I guess the song will grow on me.
