Sad, sad news folks…. The Guardian  reports that rapper Giggs’ concert has been cancelled after police warned concert venues of safety concerns. Giggs, from Peckham, London, and recently signed to XL Recordings, was due to play 10 dates starting tomorrow in Birmingham. UK NEWS: COUNCILLOR IN COURT OVER COCONUT ROW

Via The Voice Online  LIBERAL DEMOCRAT Shirley Brown has appeared in court following allegations that she called an Asian Conservative a ‘coconut’.  Brown, who represents the Ashley ward in Bristol said last week that she will plead not guilty to charges of racially aggravated harassment.  Bristol magistrates have adjourned the case until 12 April.  The accused allegedly called Jay Jethwa a ‘coconut’, which implies someone is black/brown on the outside but white on the inside therefore betraying their race, during a heated []
