Estelle performed her new single Thank You on the Letterman Show the other night. Even though her vocals seem to have improved somewhat I still say that Estelle is no singer. She is a rapper. But it’s good to see that she is still doing well in America. The song sounds like something Mary J Blige would have sung back in the day and it sounds/looks like Estelle is attempting to channel her during this performance. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

Tabloid rag The Sun reports that Simon Cowell is keen to hire rapper/’singer’ Estelle as this year’s new X-Factor judge (replacing Kelly Rowland). A “source” disclosed to The Sun, ‘Estelle’s name is very high on his list now and serious enquiries have been made as to her availability for auditions in May.’ Hahahahhahaha I wonder how long that “list” is. Who else is on this “list”? 80s pop sensation/Simon’s ex/hanger on Sinitta? I don’t see this happening.
