I support Chipmunk. He’s young (17), fresh, focused, seems to have a good head on his shoulders, and his music doesn’t sound half bad.
You can tell that the North London based emcee puts some thought in to creating a track before subjecting it to an unsuspecting audience.
Unlike some that I could mention, who insist on continuing to contaminate the UK Scene with piss poor rhymes, piss poor flows, piss poor production and piss poor music promos.
Louik Essien is a gifted vocalist, so why is he attempting to channel in Lil Wayne/T-Pain on this track?
Your thoughts please……

I actually like this track. He’s talking wat he know as opposed to the vast majority of uk rappers. Its all true & represents his progression “I came from the London underground… took my style & pedalled it over ground”. And the way he’s rising without any label backing or major funding, he seems to be coming across as a beast that can’t be contained. He’s music actually has clear messages behind the lyrical flow & punching rhymes.
Good luck to Chip.
Thats the same thing I thought, when I first saw the video, guess its not hard to see who he is influenced by perhaps only visually but still!
I like Chipmunk, good luck to him
