Google has been ordered to surrender the data of users that watch YouTube videos, including videos streamed on other websites, to Viacom. The ruling was made by Judge Stanton of the federal court for the Southern District of New York. YouTube user data now available to Viacom includes usernames, videos viewed and IP addresses, which Viacom can use to identify some individuals through ISPs – making users potentially liable for copyrighted material they consumed, the same way the RIAA pursued peer-to-peer file sharers. Murdered: Shakilus Townsend Five people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Shakilus Townsend, police said today. Officers arrested one person around 9pm yesterday and the others this morning, Scotland Yard said. Former Deputy Mayor Ray Lewis London’s deputy mayor has resigned two months into his post amid claims of financial irregularities. Ray Lewis faced allegations relating to his time as a vicar in east London in the late 1990s and head of a youth academy scheme in 2003. A woman has died after being stabbed in a late night incident. Dee Willis, 28, received a wound to her upper body during the attack at around 11pm on Tuesday in Bellenden Road, close to Peckham High Street in south east London. Ms Willis was taken to Kings College Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after midnight. Neighbours said that Ms Willis recently miscarried twins. US President George W Bush has signed a bill removing Nelson Mandela and South African leaders from the US terror watch list, officials say. Mr Mandela and ANC party members will now be able to visit the US without a waiver from the secretary of state. The African National Congress (ANC) was designated as a terrorist organisation by South Africa’s old apartheid regime.
