Amy Winehouse still hopes to perform at the forthcoming Glastonbury Festival and Nelson Mandela concert, despite her ongoing treatment in hospital. The 24-year-old Rehab singer is undergoing tests after fainting at home on Monday afternoon. In a reverse of the general pattern of fashion magazines, all the faces are black, and all the feature topics are related to black women in the arts and entertainment. Big Brother contestant Alexandra De-Gale has been thrown off the show for intimidating other housemates. Channel 4 said that during nominations the 23-year-old allegedly threatened housemates with punishment from “gangster friends”. Channel spokeswoman Angela Jain said: “Other housemates have said they found her comments to be threatening.” She had been up for the first eviction of the ninth series with Mario Marconi on Friday, but this has been cancelled. Murderers/pair of low life losers: Mohammed Noor and Abdi Sannoh Two men have been sentenced to life imprisonment at the Old Bailey for murdering a 15-year-old boy as he slept at his south-east London home. Mohammed Sannoh, 19, from Peckham, and Abdi Omar Noor, 22, from Camberwell, burst into Michael Dosunmu’s room in Peckham and shot him in February 2007.
