PURE NASTINESS OF THE DAY: RAY-J

“Probably the wildest is, lately, girls are putting H2O in their bodies and then having it shoot out like waterfalls. And it wasn’t just a little bit. You had to step back because the water was shooting everywhere. They’re very talented. Unk, Baby-D, Berg and I in St. Louis in this penthouse. The whole Koch crew was in that mug. They rented out this room for us and just brought the girls in. I directed that. I was like, “Yo, we gotta []

NEW MUSIC: R.KELLY – ‘HAIRBRAIDER’

R.Kelly will sing about anything these days. Now he’s singing about having an ellicit affair with the woman who braids his hair. I often wonder how Robert’s wife (secret wife up until 2002 when the proverbial hit the fan!) has managed to cope all these years. Robert is one very dirty beast…. Anyway your thoughts please….. UK NEWS: JAY-Z TOPS WIRELESS FESTIVAL BILL

US rapper Jay-Z has been confirmed as a headline act at this year’s Wireless Festival in London’s Hyde Park. We’re not talking about Prince or Michael Jackson here….

VIDEO: USHER – ‘LOVE IN THIS CLUB’

Well there were a few out there who thought that Usher’s fan base would desert him after his unpopular union with former stylist Tameka Foster. How wrong were they? ‘Love In This Club’ is lanquishing on top of the billboard chart and is bound to be a worldwide smash. I love the track, but the video is a let down. Haven’t we seen this video treatment before Usher, several times over? Anyway Usher fans – enjoy!

UK CHALLENGES SNOOP’S VISA RULING

Britain is appealing a court’s decision to allow Snoop Dogg into the country, the Border Agency said Friday. He was barred from Britain after he was arrested on charges of violent disorder at London’s Heathrow Airport in 2006. But the hip-hop heavyweight successfully appealed the ban and received entry clearance from an asylum and immigration tribunal in January. READ No surprises here. I knew they would appeal the decision. To those who thought that just because a judge later ruled that Snoop (real name Cordozar Calvin []

NEW MUSIC – MARIAH CAREY FT YOUNG JEEZY ‘SIDE EFFECTS’

The single ‘Side Effects’ is taken from Mariah’s new album ‘E=MC2’, and I actually like it. It’s catchy and even though I’m not the biggest Jeezy fan, I love his southern twang and raspy voice.  Admittedly though Mariah’s music sounds like run of the mill bubble gum R&B these days, which explains her lacklustre vocals for the past 10 years. She’s basically adapted her voice so that it fits comfortably on top of bubble gum production, because that’s what sells. But anyway, ‘Side Effects’ is a hundred times better then the []
