Via BBC News An X Factor contestant who narrowly missed out on a place for the live finals of the show is facing deportation from the UK. Gamu Nhengu, who is originally from Zimbabwe, was controversially eliminated from the ITV show on Sunday. Immigration officials have confirmed that her mother, Nokuthula Ngazana, had been refused permission to stay in the UK after her visa expired in August. The BBC News website reports that reggae star Buju Banton has pleaded not guilty to a drug charge in a court in Florida. Banton was charged with conspiring to buy more than five kilograms of cocaine from an undercover law enforcement officer in December 2009.

Banton and two others allegedly attempted to buy a large amount of cocaine from an undercover law enforcement officer in Sarasota last week.
