Earlier this year it was revealed that 80s Hip Hop star Roxanne Shante (real name Lolita Shante Shante Gooden) had been lying for years about receiving a Ph.D in Psycology from Cornell University. UK Rapper Sway Dasafo went from being a successful independent artist to moving up in the world and signing to Akon’s label Konvict Music. But since signing to Konvict, Sway’s music/image seems to have gone down a different route. Pre-Konvict Post-Konvict I guess Akon’s attempts to turn him in to the UK’s “Mr Lover Man” bothered Sway judging from this message he posted on his Twitter page today.. after careful consideration and observation of the current UK music industry, I’ve decided, to return to the old me.
