Via BBC News MPs have rejected possible UK military action against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s government to deter the use of chemical weapons. David Cameron said he would respect the defeat of a government motion by 285-272, ruling out joining US-led strikes. SUSAN BOYLE INVITED TO SING FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA

Britain’s Got Talent finalist/runner up Susan Boyle has reportedly been invited to sing for President Barack Obama on Independence Day. Her unofficial spokesperson and older brother Gerry claims she has been asked to perform at the White House on July 4, but admitted that she was still feeling “exhausted”.
