Dube Egwuatu A man told today how he was shot three times in a London street for wearing a Barack Obama T-shirt. Dube Egwuatu was buying a mobile telephone top-up card in an off-licence when the gunman confronted him and glared at the top, which carries an image of the Democrat US presidential candidate underneath the legend ‘Believe’. What can I say about siblings The Wee Papa Girl Rappers….   They were the poor man’s Salt ‘n’ Pepa UK style.  They were MAINSTREAM!!!!! I wasn’t a fan at all! But they did manage to walk away with two top ten hit singles under their belts back in the late 80s, and if my memory serves me correctly their debut album didn’t do too badly either…… ‘We Rule’ Circa 1988  ‘Heat It Up’ Circa 1988 I wonder where they are now……

I’m not sure if my US based visitor’s will remember this duo, but I’m sure some of my UK visitors will. After being detained by UK Immigration officials today for NO GOOD REASON, rapper Busta Rhymes has been released. Via The London Paper Busta Rhymes has been released after being barred from entering the UK today. His detention throwing plans for an anti-violence gig into chaos. Organisers of the gig were said to be considering Ludacris as his replacement. But Busta’s lawyer intervened and a High Court Judge agreed that the decision to detain was unlawful. UK NEWS: LONDON RAPPER COMMISSIONED TO WRITE HIP HOP TRACK ABOUT ASTROBIOLOGY

Bigwigs at the US Space Agency asked Jonathan Chase, 28, to write the “Astrobiology Rap” for the latest European edition of NASA’s Astrobiology Magazine.
